Our mission

Financial advice that's actually for you.

Every comparison site in India shows you the same ranked list — sorted by commission, dressed up as a recommendation. We built SingleVerdict to do the opposite.

How we score

When you answer our 7 questions, we run every product in our database against your exact answers using a weighted scoring algorithm. Each factor is scored independently:

  • Spend category match — 30% weight. Does this card actually reward where you spend?
  • Reward type fit — 25% weight. Cashback, miles, lounge — does it match your preference?
  • Annual fee fit — 20% weight. Is the fee within your stated budget?
  • Bank preference — 15% weight. Existing customers often get better approval odds.
  • Monthly spend efficiency — 10% weight. Does your spend justify the card's rewards structure?

Before scoring, we apply hard eligibility gates — if a card requires a minimum income or credit score that you don't meet, it's ruled out entirely, not just ranked lower. The cards you can't get don't appear in your results.

Our independence

SingleVerdict earns a referral commission when you click through and apply for a product. This is how we keep the service free.

The commission does not affect our scoring. The algorithm runs identically for every product, whether we earn ₹200 or ₹2,000 when you apply. We do not accept payments to feature or rank products.

If the best card for your situation is one we earn nothing from, that's the card you'll see.

What's coming

Credit cards are the first vertical. We're building the same single-verdict approach for personal loans, term insurance, mutual funds, and home loans. Each category gets its own scoring model — built with the same principle: one answer, not a list.
